As part of our series of ‘In-person trials’ with the main coaches, Ian Pont & Cath Dalton, we come to Birmingham. This trial is a fast bowling ‘assessment and interaction’ session, to see how you get on and also interact with the coaches. It’s your opportunity to impress and grab your place in this winter’s Academy, hosted at The Herts & Essex Cricket Centre in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, starting in October.

Ages 9-27 welcome. The Indoor session is held at the Edgbaston Cricket Indoor Centre and will last just over an hour or so. No batting kit needed, just indoor cricket shoes.

This Birmingham trial is part of NFBA’s outreach programme, giving players the opportunity to be seen by the coaches at a convenient location. All regular NFBA Academy training sessions take place at the HECC in Hertfordshire.

Alternatively, video trials are available 24/7, giving players the flexibility to submit their bowling from anywhere.
