As part of our series of ‘In-person trials’ with the main coaches, Ian Pont & Cath Dalton, we’re throwing open the doors to our HQ and home — the Herts & Essex Cricket Centre (HECC). This trial is a fast bowling ‘assessment and interaction’ session, to see how you get on and also interact with the coaches. It’s your opportunity to impress and grab your place in this winter’s Academy, hosted right here at HECC in Sawbridgeworth, starting in October.

Ages 9-27 welcome. The indoor session is held at HECC and will last just over an hour or so. No batting kit needed, just indoor cricket shoes.

Trialling at HECC means you’ll be seen by the coaches at the very same venue where all regular NFBA Academy training takes place — our home ground.

Alternatively, video trials are available 24/7, giving players the flexibility to submit their bowling from anywhere.

We can take up to 35 players for this session, and places are already being allocated for this year’s intake, so grab your trial spot fast.
